Advance Distribution / Here's the Scoop

Lois Jones |
Advance Distribution specializes in the door to door delivery of flyers serving the towns of Airdrie, Crossfield, and Irricanna. Every weekend Advance Distribution hangs a clear plastic bag full of clean, dry, and legible advertising and information on residents doors. In 1996 when Canada Post raised their ad mail rates, Lois and her Husband Al recognized the business opportunity for a competitively priced distribution service and started the business.
Lois, Al and family moved to Airdrie in 1995. Being a farm girl by heart, the prospect of raising her family in the Big City scared Lois. With Al already working in the Airdrie area the decision to call Airdrie home and hang their hats here came easy. Lois worked for Fed Ex in Calgary for 13 years. She was able to put her experience of developing business plans and route structuring to work for Airdrie and area businesses starting up Advance Distribution. And now Lois latest achievement that she takes most pride in is the weekly inspirational publication Heres The Scoop, delivered in their flyer package. The business community has responded positively to this unique alternative form of advertising that allows the business community and the public to do weekend announcements. Their motto is simply; No News is Good News.
Lois is a mother of two which is where she finds her true inspiration, as they bring a smile to her face every day. She believes that laughter is the best medicine
and that life is just too short not to laugh. Lois has one big pet peeve, that being people who dont follow the golden rule, and seem to forget that others are human too. This is not a perfect world, we all makes mistakes and to accept that, is to Advance.
